No child with impaired hearing shall grow up untreated due to poverty and ignorance of their parents. The early intervention pre-school of the Narada Savana (Hear) Foundation, NHF, has become an Auditory Verbal Therapy Center, and it has so far integrated rehabilitated deaf children to regular primary schools and will be admitting more kids in order to allow these kids to join the main stream of the society without a burden.

Colombo Round Table 1 has embarked on this meritorious project to assist the “NHF” under the project theme of “Have U Heard” Round table for Kids in Need with a complete audiology center which is planned in Gampaha, Sri Lanka. The BOQ as at date is approximately Rs. 12M to complete the project along with the equipment.

We have spent approximately 2.5 Million from the table (CRT 1) together with Round table Austria been the largest contributor.

Today we are happy to inform that the Audiology center - phase 1 is fully constructed and in operation the soft opening was in December 2010.
